Hello my name is Jennifer Thompson owner of Vecthom Sporthorses and also Vecthom Stud. After years of having Vecthom Sporthorses and importing and selling such fantastic sporthorses i feel its time to move away from keeping my stud under the name of Vecthom Sporthorses so i have designed another website for my Mares, Foals and the stallions i am using. 

I have been interested in breeding coloured sporthorses for around 10 years since working on a well known coloured warmblood stud when i was just 14!. I purchased my first warmbloods when i was 15 years old and fell in love with the breed hence why i started my importing and Vecthom Sporthorses. I concentrated on this whilst searching for the right mares to start my stud. I knew i wanted to breed mainly coloured exceptional quality foals for sport but i knew i was not going to just breed coloured mares as i feel i wanted to produce quality and also for sport so solid coloured mares must of been added to my breeding programme.

I knew exactly what i wanted in my mares and turned alot of mares down before getting the mares i have now got. I am VERY picky when it comes to my mares and they have to tick all boxes as i was not setting out to have mares i am not keen on or do not suit my breeding programme i was having them to keep.

2009 was my first year for foaling and having my own foals and i loved every minitue of it. I realsie there are ups and downs and i know this better than most as i have had horses all of my life and there are always ups and downs with them but its a very special feeling having your own mare, Choosing a stallion to put the mare to and then waiting to see what you get.
